For my project, 'Designing for a Political Scene', I chose to focus on sanitary products. During my research, I discovered a petition started by a fellow Goldsmiths student that works towards eliminating the Sanitary Tax. I designed various stickers that were placed on sanitary bins and helped petition to make sanitary products tax-free at Goldsmiths. The petition is still ongoing, but in this past year, the amount of signatures have risen from 10,000 to over 250,000.
